30+ Things To Do In Tulsa/Oklahoma

Whether you're looking for something fun to do for the weekend or you're visiting Tulsa/Oklahoma for the first time, I compiled a list of things that I enjoy to give you some ideas.

Things to do in Tulsa!

[ 1 ] Tulsa Zoo/ Aquarium
- The zoo is a great place to spend a day. The place is huge so bring comfortable shoes! You can even bring a picnic or eat at one of the restaurants. You might spend 1.5-2 hours at the aquarium. It's not very big but it's a lot of fun. Find where you can pet the starfish, feed stingrays and go through the tunnel of sharks!

[ 6 ] Tulsa climb
- You're looking to do something fun while also getting exercise in? Even if you think there's no way you're strong enough to rock climb I bet you can do it! Give it a try it's so fun. You'll likely spend about 1.5-2 hours here. Try to fill out your info online and you have to take a quick course before you start in person but it's good because they teach you how to do it. I highly recommend giving this a try.

[ 7 ] Hiking Turkey Mountain
- Along with getting some exercise, this is a great place to hike even with little experience. Many of the trails are easy but if you're wanting the most beautiful trail, definitely take the longest one. It will lead you to and open track that's super cool. Watch out for snakes!

Probably the most popular one right now is Magoos Bar and Billiards located at 51st and Memorial. If you're looking for a more family/kid friendly place, make the drive to Sandites Pool Hall in Sand Springs. Kids are welcomed here but they still have a bar and kitchen if you're looking for a good meal and drink. Seriously, their food is amazing.

- Did you know we even have Zip-lining? At PostOak Lodge and retreat you could either book a stay vacation or only book the zip-lining. They have day and night options. Ranging from $79-$92 per person. A little more pricier than anything listed above, but this is a great thing to do if you wanna face you fears and try something fun! DayBreak

If you're looking to get breakfast and you're tired of going to Ihop every time I highly recommend DayBreak. Located in the shopping center at 81st and Lewis. The quality of the food is excellent. If it's your first time coming here, get the Breakfast Sampler it's delicious!

Picture

Jinya ramen bar

A all time favorite of mine is Jinya Ramen Bar located Downtown Tulsa on E second st. and Elgin. You might have seen this on the way to Dilly's and never thought to try. But this will be the best ramen you will find in Tulsa! If you like spicy get the Spicy Unami Miso Ramen (Photo), or if you don't like spicy get the Chicken Wonton Ramen for something more simple. They have a great variety! They have Vegetarian and Gluten-free options as well.
"Arigatou!"

Saturn Room- Rum and tiki bar

Okay this one is not a restaurant but if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind bar in Tulsa you need to hit up the Saturn Room located Downtown Tulsa. This unique tiki hut inspired bar has really tasty drinks! I will definitely do a post for just bars alone for Tulsa because there's really so many great one! As far as Saturn Room there is yet to be a drink I've tried that that I don't like here! So if you have a nice relaxing evening with some friends definitely try this place. Just know they only serve drinks, no food!

Phở Nhi Vietnamese Noodle House

If you're wanting to try something new you gotta give this Vietnamese restaurant a chance! They have delicious Pho, soups, vegetarian and vegan options. And for your friends you have to convince to go with you they have simple meals too that are really good.

Old School Bagel Cafe

Voted best bagels in Oklahoma is Old School Bagel. Serving breakfast all day, Old School has really delicious, not your average bagels. My favorite is the Jalapeno bacon egg and cheese sandwich. It is a must if you come to Tulsa!

KseroGrill

One of my favorites is KseroGrill located at 61st and Mingo. From Arepas to to Empanadas, this restaurant has delicious authentic Venezuelan food!

I got the Patacon Verde O Maduro. Shredded meat, potatoes, and sauces put together with ripe plantain. Not pictured is Tequenos which I always get when going to a venezuelan restaurant!

Dillys

Located Downtown Tulsa on E second st. and Elgin by Jinya! Dillys has great food. Opened all day, we like to go there for breakfast. This is the Huevos Ranchero dish. They have delicious dessert.
